About us
The Middle Tennessee State Triathlon Club is one of the many sports clubs of MTSU. Full membership is limited to current MTSU students, however, faculty, staff, alumni, and any individual who has common purposes with the Club can be an associate member -- associate members do not vote or hold office.
The purpose of this organization shall be as follows:
- To promote and encourage physical fitness and amateur participation in the sports of triathlon, duathlon, running, cycling, swimming, and multi-sport activity.
- To encourage and support the gathering and dissemination of information related to the sports of triathlon, duathlon, running, cycling, swimming, and multisport activity within the student community
- To promote the sports of triathlon, duathlon, running, cycling, swimming, and multi-sport activity by attending races as a club.
- To compete at a regional and national level races sanctioned by USA Triathlon in the collegiate division.
- To compete against other universities triathlon teams.
The club is an USAT certified club and part of the South East Collegiate Triathlon Conference. This conference is made of university teams from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Louisiana.
