28th Annual Mach Tenn Triathlon. The organizers strive to make this a fun, challenging and friendly event. And they believe the venue for Mach Tenn is nearly perfect. The race site overlooks peaceful Woods Reservoir in a remote area of Middle Tennessee. The roads used for the bike and run courses, though not closed to traffic, have very little traffic. The run course boasts a few hills (though not steep ones) to add a little challenge. Mach Tenn is limited to the first 350 registered participants. Included in the post race refreshments are homemade black eyed peas and hot off the griddle "hoe" cakes. Michelob Ultra provided for those 21 years of age and over.
Race Distances - 0.6 mi swim / 16 mi bike / 4 mi run
This is a very fun race, we have the opportunity to practice at the race course. Last year we had 7 club members participate in this race and 5 of them placed in the top 3 on their age group. This year we expect even more members to take part in this race.
